Congregation Caroling Party: A Christmas Caroling Party is being planned for Sunday, December 23rd. We will be meeting at 10:30pm at Swifthaven. Everyone is invited! The residents of Swifthaven and the Edgerton Care Center love to see everyone, especially children and babies. Help us make a joyful noise
Membership Updates: If you have moved in the past year or changed telephone numbers, please complete a change of information form found on the table in the Narthex. Completed form can go in the collection box.
Advent Services: Advent starts Wednesday, December 5, 2018. We will be celebrating Advent with two services on Wednesday (11:00am and 6:30pm). Remember that these services are in addition to our regular Sunday services.
Scrip Cards: Little Saints Learning Center is offering a Scrip card program for the Christmas season. The full information is available in the Narthex. This year Scrip cards can be purchased online with the proceeds being sent to Little Saints. Just add your email address to the sheet in the Narthex. You will receive via email a link to the St. John’s Little Saints Learning Center account. Any questions, see Miss Gwen.
Little Saints Wish List Update: Christ is the cornerstone of the Church and is the foundation of the ministry at St. John. Part of that ministry is Little Saints. The staff of Little Saints would like to thank you for your enthusiasm for our wish list items. Your enthusiasm show staff members they are appreciated and that the congregation supports our work to fulfill the ministry of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church. We ask that you keep us in your prayers.
Little Saints Christmas: Gift wrapping will be available from December 7th through 21st, a small donation for this service would be greatly appreciated.
Bell Ringing for the Salvation Army:
This year bell ringing will begin Friday, November 16th through Monday, December 24th. No ringing on Thanksgiving or Sundays. Shifts are 10am to 8pm and are typically 2 hours long. This year you can go to ”registertoring.com” website, enter the zip code or city and choose your location and shift. In addition to ringing bells, there are several other volunteer opportunities available. For further details, call Patrice Gabower at 757-8300 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Aluminum Can Collection
Last date for your 2018 church offerings to be posted on the 2018 statement will be December 30, 2018.

Remember to bring your aluminum cans for recycling. Funds collected will be used for Fellowship Activities. Please leave your donations outside the garage.
