| St. John Service Guild
St. John Service Guild is a group of Christian women working for our Lord and our congregation. We meet on the third Thursday of the month in March through November. Our meetings begin with a brief devotion.
We sponsor an annual Spring Salad Luncheon and Fall Bazaar. These events are fund raisers with the profits allocated to congregational projects and mission projects. Some of the projects we have supported include: improvement and maintenance projects for the church property and buildings and support for the Sunday School and Altar Guild.
Our support for local and district mission projects include: Edgerton Community Outreach, Lutheran Counseling and Family Services, Lutheran Deaf Outreach, Bethesda Lutheran Communities and Concordia Food Bank. We also provide scholarship funds through the Adopt a Student program at the seminary or for any of our congregation members studying at the seminary.
We welcome new members and also appreciate volunteers to help with our spring luncheon and fall bazaar.
For more information contact Virginia Rusch at 884-4310 or Elaine King at 868-4407.
